1 1/2 cups catsup

1 Tbs (heaping) mustard

1/2 cup vinegar

1 medium grated onion

4 Tbs brown sugar

Celery Salt or Celery Seed

2-3 pounds of brisket


Preheat oven to 275 F.

In a bowl, combine catsup, mustard, vinegar, onion and brown sugar.

Place a large piece of foil in a baking dish (big enough to wrap around the entire brisket.

Place your brisket on the foil in the backing dish and pour the sauce over it. Sprinkle with either celery salt or celery seed and wrap the foil tightly around the meat.

Cook at 275 degrees for 1 hour per pound of meat.

Cut into slices 1/4 ro 1/2 inch thick and serve on warm rolls.
