Freezing allows us to offer a wider variety of proteins while maintaining the integrity of naturally raised meats and wild-caught seafood. We recommend storing them in your freezer until you’re ready to enjoy, then thaw gently for best results.

Helpful tips
Grass-fed beef is leaner than conventional beef, so it cooks faster and benefits from lower heat. We recommend searing quickly and finishing at a lower temp—or using slow, moist methods like braising for tougher cuts.

The safest method is to thaw meat in the refrigerator overnight. For quicker thawing, place the sealed package in a bowl of cold water, changing the water every 30 minutes. Avoid thawing at room temperature.
Grass-fed beef comes from cattle that eat only grass and forage throughout their lives. Grain-finished cattle are fed grain in the final months to increase marbling. Our beef is 100% grass-fed for a cleaner, more natural flavor and nutrient profile.
A meat thermometer is your best friend! For example, grass-fed steaks are best at 130–135°F for medium-rare. Because grass-fed meat cooks faster, keep a close eye and let it rest before slicing.
- Slow cooking: Chuck roast, stew meat, shanks, short ribs
- Grilling: Ribeye, sirloin, patties, sausages
- Quick meals: Ground beef, stir-fry strips, thin-cut steaks
